currently creating complex geometry is irreversible and extremely difficult to edit. neither on-screen nor table edit work well to modify complex geometry, especially removal of PI with curve sets. Also, delete element from complex is not unattainable.
Of course geometry connector is not a solution. Takes too long playing with lock and lock and the general idea of trial and error. This is not how we do design.
Adding a reverse action to 'create complex' and thus opening an opportunity to edit, add, or delete elements one by one would resolve the problem.

This functionality already exists, you can use the "Drop" command to remove the complex status of an alignment. However, doing this will delete all profiles for that alignment.
