As a project progresses templates can be created that are no longer needed. Currently I need to manually make a list of templates that are used in the model, then go back to the template library and remove unused templates. I'd like to see a tool that streamlines this process, preferably built into the template library.
One way this could be achieved is a window where you can add the dgn model files, then a list of the templates that are used within those dgn files is automatically created. This is placed side-by-side with the templates within the library and a color scheme applied for used/unused templates. For example, green is a match, red for unused templates, yellow to templates modified in the model.

There are times I need to change a feature name/property, or other change across all of the templates. I can end up with 50+ templates on a complex yard project. If I am able to remove templates that are no longer being used it reduces the number of templates that I need to update.
Could you elaborate on the specific problem you are trying to solve? Why do you feel that you need to delete unused templates in the itl?
