I observed that when one imports a geometry from OpenRail designer WITHOUT profile, Concept Station tends to create a profile on the basis of the terrain model. However, there are cases when it is better for the program to follow a corridor profile instead. An example would be a railyard, which requires a lot of cut and fill work to create a relatively even surface. In this case, ti makes more sense for the tracks to follow the profile of this defined area instead. A solution would be to provide an option during import process for the tracks which aspects to prioritize: An existing track profile (if available), terrain elevation or corridor profile.
