Could we simply handle the compression without user involvement? I hate wondering why my session has not opened only to find a buried "Would you like to compress" dialog box?

Please discuss this with your CAD administrator. This sounds like a ProjectWise or configuration issue. There's also an option to compress the file on close automatically.
