Ability to differentiate between the different types of Rail Crossover

The crossover function has been retired between schema 9 and 10 in favor of turnout "connections". So it is no longer possible to identify a single crossover with a unique asset IDs. A crossover object should be added that consist of the sub elements, turnouts and connecting geometry.

Several railroads will consider a "crossover" as one track component with two same hand switches where the rails are laced between special long ties between the frogs.

By contrast, a track that operates as a crossover would be considered two separate same hand turnout components if there are adequate track centers to construct track on standard length ties between the long ties of the turnout.

The ability to differentiate between the two in the software would help with estimating. Otherwise, there will be some manual process understanding which individual turnouts contribute to a crossover."
