When using Set Feature Definition to change an element from one Feature Definition to another, existing Item Type values are not updated.

For example, if a striping line is initially assigned an Edgeline Feature Definition with an Item Type property that sets Color = White, then later changed to a Centerline Feature Definition where the Item Type should be Color = Yellow, the Item Type property remains White.

Add an option to the Set Feature Definition tool to refresh or replace the Item Types associated with the Feature Definition.

This would help ensure that Item Type data stays synchronized with the assigned Feature Definition and prevent incorrect data from being used for annotation, quantities, reporting, or digital delivery.
