The second generation of the Eurocodes will soon become the basis for structural design across Europe, with implementation timelines varying between countries. The revised standards introduce significant changes to material parameters, calculation methods, and design verification.

It is therefore important that RM Bridge provides full support for the second-generation Eurocodes. Without this implementation, the software risks becoming increasingly difficult to use for European bridge projects and less competitive compared with alternative structural design tools.

I therefore hope that support for the second-generation Eurocodes is already included in Bentley's development plans for RM Bridge, including both the main Eurocode provisions and the respective National Annexes.
