If I create an alignment, and I want that information as a data table (for curves and the like) it's not directly possible. I want it to create a table where I can pull the properties of that alignment off and put them into a table format. The default table would be just the data from the reports. Currently the only ways to do it are to print/save an xml or pdf of the report, then paste/embed it or copy the data into an excel spreadsheet, then embed/paste the data. Each extra step increases the chance of error, and decreases it's dynamic nature. Also, as with any picture/embedment, it is affected by reducing the raster dpi.

The process isn't terrible in my opinion. You just export the XML to Excel, and embed the excel.
What you are asking for is essentially a Rule-Based approach where the table is tied to the alignment, so if a change is made to the alignment, the table is automatically updated.... Correct?
