It would be much more intuitive and beneficial if there was an option to "include" the profile of a geometry element when using the Offset Tools. Currently, the workflow is to offset the 2D geometry, and then copy the Profile from the reference geometry to the newly offset geometry. It would be much quicker to have the option to just include the Profile at the time of the offset.

Have you tried turning on the "Create 3D Automatically" setting on the Feature Definition toolbar? This should do what you are asking for.
