This comment is coupled with another idea I had regarding selective update of annotations. Again the problem stems directly from the dynamic nature of ORD. Usually the process to create a cant for an alignment goes as follows:
-Creation of speed table for an alignment
-Crate an initial cant for an alignment
-Manual adjustments of cant in cant table.
However we observe that when any change in stationing or geometry tends to revert the cant values to the second step (which is also reflected on annotations) and all the manual work of adjustment of the cant table goes to waste. This is a topic that must be adressed somehow. In any case one must have the option to choose if and when the cant table should be updated or not.
