A new bug has been introduced with the release of ORD 2023. Whenever a .dgn containing a Sheet View is opened, ORD returns an error message dialogue that says, "unable to run command in sheet or drawing model" and then will not open the file until you select OK to close the dialogue. (Note: The error occurs as soon as you try opening the file, not after trying to use a tool/command in the sheet view) I understand that regular MicroStation can be used to work on files with Sheet Views, but for many different reasons, we often prefer to just open the files with ORD. Understandably, some ORD tools will not work in a sheet view, but ORD should still open the file "without" any errors. (after the file is open, the error message would make sense "Only" after an unaccepted command is attempted.) Please Note: This was never an issue with previous versions of ORD, only began with the 2023 release. Thanks!

Does anyone know if this will be fixed in OpenRoads 2024? I would imagine most people do their drafting in Microstation, so this impacts the majority of users.
A ticket has been submitted and It is due to user having the "feature definition toolbar" docked which is common practice. The error does not occur if the toolbar is not docked. Hopefully this will be addressed in the next release. .dgn sheets should open with "no" errors/alerts regardless of which tools are in a docked state.
