When creating Report Definitions for item types, we have the option to create calculated columns that can use an expression, similar to an item type, to create a data column that looks the way we would want it in a standard report. It can combine or even lookup data that we wouldn't need to see in the item type, but is useful to see in a report.
I would like a function similar to this to be added to the Text Favorite dialog. Sometimes, what I see in the report, I also want to see as an annotation in the drawing. It isn't always practical to put every piece of information i want to show in the text favorite in the item type for the 1 element, especially when i want the annotation label to be formatted a certain way based on certain conditions. It would be much more useful to be able to create a Text Favorite field that is a calculated expression and can pull from item type or other properties.
