Enhance Drainage and Utilities profile annotation to automatically determine and graphically represent the side from which an inlet connects to a receiving manhole in a longitudinal/Civil Profile.

For each inlet connected to a manhole:

• Display a rectangular symbol divided vertically into two halves, with one half filled.

• Automatically determine the inlet connection side from the inlet and connecting conduit geometry in plan, relative to the direction of the profiled network route.

• If the inlet connects from the left, fill the left half of the symbol.

• If the inlet connects from the right, fill the right half of the symbol.

• Where multiple inlets connect to the same manhole, determine and represent the connection side independently for each inlet.

• Maintain association with the Drainage and Utilities model so that changes to inlet location, conduit geometry, connectivity, or profile direction can be reflected when the profile annotation is updated.

This functionality would allow users to identify the plan-based connection side of each inlet directly in the longitudinal profile.
