We receive the rail alignment in the form of a .xtr file. In the file itself it is possible to see that there is station, cant, construction and destruction phase, and turnout information, yet when I import it in OpenRail Designer only the alignement and the cant is imported, the rest is lost. Additionally only the feature definitions I assign are used, not the construction phase information already in the file.
Ideally all this information would be imported and it would be possible to map it to certain feature definitions. As of at this moment the turnouts will not even appear as alignment. Consequently it is difficult to actually work with OpenRail Designer. We are using a workaround via a macro in PowerRail Track where at least an alignment is imported for a turnout. Still a lot of information is lost.

Absolutely my word!! The software is nearly useless for swiss users, as XTR is the standard exchange format. If this issue isn't treated with the right priority, we'll even consider to switch to a different software.
Yes we the Bentley customers in Switzerland have huge Problem with importing XTR-Data from SwissRailway.
The turnout informations gets lost or even misinterpreted.
